The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the notification for the July Cycle of CTET 2023 on their official website on April 27, 2023. CTET is a national-level examination for Teaching eligibility, conducted annually by CBSE.
Important Dates for CTET July 2023
The online application process for CTET 2023 will commence on April 27, 2023, and the last date to apply is May 26, 2023. Applicants will be allowed to make corrections to their forms between May 29 and June 2, 2023. The CTET exam for July-August 2023 will be conducted on the scheduled date, and the results for the same are expected to be announced in the last week of September 2023.

CTET July 2023 Application Fees
For General and OBC (NCL) categories, the application fee is Rs. 1000/- for only Paper I or Paper II, and Rs. 1200/- for both Paper I & II.
For all other categories, the application fee is Rs. 500/- for only Paper I or Paper II, and Rs. 600/- for both Paper I & II.
CTET July 2023 Eligibility
For Level-1 (PRT), candidates must have passed 12th grade and completed a diploma in education (D.Ed), Junior Basic Training (JBT), Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
For Level-2 (TGT), candidates must have completed their graduation and hold a B.Ed or B.El.Ed degree.
CTET Exam Pattern 2023
The exam pattern for the CTET 2023 exam has been provided below for Level-I (Primary Teacher) and Level-II (Trained Graduate Teacher). The duration of the exam for each level is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
CTET 2023 Exam Pattern of Level-I
There are 30 questions in each of the following subjects: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies (EVS). Each subject is worth 30 marks.
